Thank you for visiting our dust collector selection guide. Choosing the right dust collector can be a complex process, and we are here to help.
Let's get started!
How to Calculate and Process Air Volume:
Airflow of a single production line: First, determine the required airflow for each production line.
Q(single line)= V * A
Among them:
● (Q) is the air volume of a single production line (m ³/h)
● (V) is the speed or output of the production line (e.g. the amount of material processed per hour)
● (A) is the air volume coefficient generated per unit of material (determined based on specific processes and experience)
Total processing air volume: Add up the air volumes of all production lines to obtain the total processing air volume:
Q (total)=Q (single line) * N
Among them:
● Q (total) is the total processing air volume (m ³/h)
● (N) is the number of production lines
Consider safety margin:
Safety factor: In order to ensure the stability and reliability of the system, a certain safety margin is usually added to the calculated total processing air volume. The common range of safety factors is 1.1 to 1.5.
