Baghouse dust collector, also known as a bag filter, is an essential piece of equipment used in industrial processes to remove dust particles and other airborne contaminants from exhaust gases. This system plays a critical role in maintaining air quality and preventing pollution, while also helping businesses comply with environmental regulations. Baghouse dust collectors are widely used across various industries, including manufacturing, mining, cement production, and food processing, where large volumes of dust are generated during operations.

A baghouse dust collector is a type of industrial air filtration system that uses fabric filter bags to capture and remove dust from the air stream. The term "baghouse" refers to the physical structure that houses the fabric filter bags, which are designed to collect particulate matter as air flows through them. The bag filter or bag type dust collector is an integral part of the baghouse, as it is the primary mechanism responsible for trapping dust particles. The baghouse functions by drawing in polluted air through a series of filter bags.

Cartridge dust collector is a type of dust collector that uses specialized filter cartridges to remove dust and other contaminants from the air. The filter cartridges are typically made from high-efficiency materials such as pleated polyester or fiberglass. These materials allow for high dust holding capacity, making cartridge dust collectors ideal for applications with medium to high dust loads.

The system operates by drawing in contaminated air through the intake system, where it passes through the filter cartridges. As the air flows through these filters, dust and particulate matter are captured on the surface of the cartridges. Once the particles are trapped, the filtered air is then released back into the environment or to the building’s ventilation system.

Cyclone dust collector, also know as Cyclone dust separator, is an efficient air filtration system designed to remove large dust particles and debris from industrial exhaust air. It operates on the principle of centrifugal force, which allows it to separate dust and other particles from the airstream without the need for filter bags or cartridges. This makes it an effective and cost-efficient solution for applications where fine filtration is not required.

Filter Bag & Cartridge & Cage and Pulse Valve

Filter bags, filter cages, filter cartridge and pulse jet valves are important components of dust collection system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Dust Filter Bag

Dust collector bag is typically made from fabric material, such as polyester, fiberglass, acrylic,  aramid, polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) and PTFE, and is used to capture larger dust particles. These bags are commonly found in baghouse dust collectors, where they trap dust as air passes through the material.

Dust Collector Cartridge

Dust collector cartridge is a pleated filter element designed for high-efficiency dust removal. It is typically used in cartridge dust collectors, which are ideal for applications with medium to fine dust loads. Cartridges are often self-cleaning, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

Filter Bag Cage

Filter bag cage is a crucial structural component in baghouse dust collectors, designed to support and maintain the shape of filter bags. It ensures proper airflow, prevents filter bag collapse, and enhances the overall efficiency of the dust collection system.

Pulse Jet Valve

Pulse jet valve is a crucial component in dust collection systems, specifically designed for cleaning filter bags or cartridges. It plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of the dust collector by dislodging accumulated dust from the filter media, ensuring continuous airflow and optimal filtration performance.

Conveyor Equipment

Conveyor equipment, including rotary airlock valves, screw conveyors, drag conveyors, and bucket elevators, plays a vital role in dust collection systems, specifically for transferring collected dust or ash from the dust collector to storage bins or other processing units.

Rotary Airlock Valve

A rotary airlock valve, also known as a rotary airlock feeder, is a crucial component in dust collection systems, primarily used for discharging collected dust from the dust collector into a separate storage container or hopper. It is designed to regulate the flow of materials while maintaining a sealed airlock.

Screw Conveyor

A screw conveyor, also know as auger conveyor, uses a rotating helical screw blade to transport materials along a trough. It is ideal for handling dry, free-flowing dust or ash in moderate to heavy-duty applications. Screw conveyors are commonly used for short to medium distances.

Drag Conveyor

A drag conveyor, also know as scrapper conveyor, on the other hand, uses a chain or paddle mechanism to pull materials along a track or trough. It is ideal for handling bulk materials such as coal, grain, or fine dust, and is designed to handle longer distances compared to screw conveyors.

Bucket Elevator

A bucket elevator uses a series of buckets attached to a chain or belt to vertically lift materials, making it ideal for elevating dust, grains, or powder from low to high points. It is commonly used when there is a need for significant vertical material transport in dust collection systems.
